Joining Bosom Buddies can make a difference to your journey in multiple ways:

• After diagnosis, we can match you up with a buddy who has been there and can answer your questions and help you deal with fear and other feelings.
• Ongoing support, when others may think your treatment is over.  Build new friendships that can provide support when questions and concerns arise about medication and side effects, impact on your energy and therefore on your family and life.
• Regular social events to help you have fun and laugh -- an important part of your long term treatment.  When you want to celebrate good news check-ups, we are happy to toast your success. 
• A quarterly newsletter with news, helpful hints and information about upcoming social activitites.
• If you come to feel you want to give back, or help other women to understand breast cancer, or want to be an advocate in the community, we will welcome your participation. 

If you are a Supporting Friend or Family Member...

• You can learn about breast cancer, the journey, and ways to assist.
• You can participate with the patient you support as a way of extending that support.
• You too, can have fun and laugh at our social events.
• You can participate in projects and other work to further education within our community about breast cancer.

Membership Costs

Our annual Membership Fee is $20.00(incl. GST) per annum, and $12.00 (pensioner, concession - incl. GST).
Concession membership is provided for pensioners, or anyone in extreme financial difficulty who contacts the treasurer.
