" I found the Bosom Buddies number in some literature I was given.  They connected me with women who had had reconstruction and those converstations were invaluable in helping me make my own decisions.  When I look back, it was the laughter and confidence Bosom Buddies women gave me that really mattered.

Two of them called periodically to see how I was doing and answered my questions and concerns as they arose.  I had great support from family and friends, but these Buddies gave me something my supporters couldn't give me - shared experiences and great role models."

I supported her journey with rides to and from treatments, phone conversations and visits.  I've gained a good friend."
